What is "A Dead World"

It is a story of one person after the world has come all but to an end. His thoughts,fears, motivations, and struggles in going on after everyone and everything he knew and loved is gone.

Where did the story come from?

The basis for this story has been random thoughts I have had since childhood which I am finally focusing into a single story.

Why this format instead of a graphic based comic or book?

Orginally I had considered creating a comic but as I worked the story out in my head and wrote some early drafts I could not see transitioning into a graphic comic. It was actually very enlightening to realize how difficult a good story in a comic form can be due to the constraints of the medium.

I chose an entry format which updates because it matched the style of story and feel I wanted without the complications of publishing a book.

Is the main character based off of you?

The main character is not based off of me, although I am sure my writing/thinking style does influence the character. There are many times when the character acts or chooses directions which I am pretty sure I would not choose but make sense for the character.

Who else has helped work on this story?

The story and all the writing are done primarily by me. I also built the site from the ground up. However, without the help and advice from my friends and family it would have been much more difficult and possibly I would have never continued working on the story and finished the website.
